Yeah well - I just say it the way I see it since the DPP were elected.

I've heaped praise on SVM and expressed my dissent at the current govt. I've also been very critical of GBE for their lack of transparency.

Not looking for a nice re assuring bedtime story to justify my holding in the above - I hold for the reasons I researched and nothing has changed my views.
In fact electricity on the way and possibly a new pro active govt is all the more reason to be optimistic and yes articles like that you posted from Nyasa times - very favourable reports from SVM and "mining in Malawi" publication. It all bodes well for the future and research gives a rounded view not just picking out the feel good articles.

The new mines and minerals bill is massive in the context of all this and there are very many mining companies looking at doing business in Malawi. Govt is so pre occupied roaming the country holding public spin to get re elected that they appear to have no interest in anything else and that 9 month time frame could be much longer - particularly if they are re elected.
Even Massi - the mines minister is roaming the country like the Messiah holding public street meetings like WTF.

MCP and the new united whatever that vice president Chilima has started are talking up a million jobs he will create which Muthy scoffed at - Chakwera of MCP is talking 4 million jobs - well construction and mining will be a big player in jobs.

Of course is all political rhetoric for now.
