I wouldn't take too much notice of what is showing in market depth buyers vrs sellers. This can be a very misleading indicator since many big buyers (and sellers) don't show their hand until the very last minute. Also, many buy (and sell) in small parcels so they don't spook the market. Also, and most importantly, if the company reported some very bullish news e.g. great drill results, a takeover offer etc, the market depth would change very, very quickly as investors reacted to the new news and started buying.
I, understand what you are saying, but it must be very disconcerting to those who subscribed to the SPP, to wake up this morning to see the market showing 3.8/3.9. Being the eternal optimist I'm holding on to my stock.
The main reason I held off from the SPP is because have burnt my fingers badly in the past. Ie subscribed only to see the price fall below SPP.
