Actually now Ive done a double check the sentence was missing - "to you today" at the end. Definitely taken out of context and chopped to fit the article. A bit of investigation at the newspaper I would imagine would reveal that.
What is not listed is who was chairing the meeting at the time. Ian Trahar is the executive chairman but may not have been chairing the meeting. I have no idea really?
As for misleading the public.... I count myself as one and personally I dont feel I am being mislead. All information presented to me I have been able to verify through my own research.
Perhaps the only misleaders here would be the newspaper, but in someways they have covered that by manipulating the quote.
