Maybe you should go for a drive out to the sight and see how you go. I doubt you would even be able to walk there let alone get diggers there. Besides no earthmoving contractor is going to put gear out there in a wet season, even if you think it has not rained much it may rain for a week straight next week. A saying up that way is only fools and tourists predict the rainfall here.
