To insure intelligent management of an operation first of all intelligence is paramount--- Look at what you have under your control and see ways to improve, not only your own self but the operation as well. Proactive vs Reactive -- Is it a long term or short term project. Short-term, yes fire fight but if in for the long haul then consider the implications of reactive management. Who you sell to will have to cope with this mismanagement - This is fine if short term is the ideal. Question: Is SFG in for the long haul, if so then a proactive approach would be the preferred approach combined with intelligent risk assessment.
