Asx 200 down 9% in past 12 months.Does not give investors much confidence.We have virtually underperformed all our peer markets.Reasons? ..years of incompetent governments..both sides and affiliates...Why.?..they all have sold off key assets our forebears paid for..Why? so the past,present and future politicians can enjoy the fruits of the workers labour...they have killed off manufacturing...do not encourage investment and we pay far more tax and far to much for electricity than we should.We really are lucky to have a few large miners here or these incompeyent politicians may well find the people acting like those in France..Spain and Greece...where the general populace has revolted.. this is tge reason our stockmarket has been long suffering
