It would appear that whoever is selling and I'm assuming it is the remaining ex Capital stock ,but not certain, is now trying to flood stock into a saturated market. The result is obvious, painful and greatly discouraging. There has been and is a problem with the handling of the shareholder registrar and investor relations. If handled properly the remaining excess stock may have been dissipated without such a bloodbath to existing long term suffering shareholders. Eg Clermont may have been encouraged to " mop up " the loose remaining stock. Ten years ago the stock was in free fall when a large hedge fund Och Ziff decided to exit their postion in the GFC. The rout was stabilized when Packers fund via Ashok Jacob found out who was selling and purchased the remaining stock.( that was at 16c back then) The stock price then stabilized.
Ewc management have on many times stated that they "don't want to look through people's windows" when asked to look into who is selling via nominees which is understandable which is why people often use that format to tradein. But if you owned a house and rented out and the tenants were using it as a meth lab and destroying your property, you would want to know and get them out of there ASAP.(sorry that's the best analogy I can come up with)
No one I know , actually can tell me who purchase Capital's stock which is interesting since they were a substantial shareholder, the purchaser using the nominees status. Over 110mill shares have traded since the 99mill Capital quit. It would be of great value to know what remaining stock was there. Simply Wall St have a current 46c valuation , another report put a $1.24 on the stock (I thought it to be a bit of a cut and paste , light on actual research report) A couple of other well research and analytical reports ,which I won't plagiarize ,have values significantly higher.
It feels like "the boy that cried wolf" so my now engrained cynicism prevents me from making further comments on very recent transpiring positive developments in Indonesia and the Philippines . Then bottom line here I believe that currently there is a total disjunction and dislocation of this company's current shareprice and the company's true value.
