I made comment awhile back that raising fish in captivity has been largely confined to nearshore caostal waters, ponds, lakes and rivers. one of the main problems with fish farming is pollution and disease.

Western Kingfish WKL reported that 15000 fish deaths were recorded, bacterial pathogens in the fish, they expect to see futher fish mortalities.

This is a disaster for the company and its share holders securing more funds to start all over again is going to be difficult in these times.

Cell is landbased and totally contained, should a problem occur the cell/pod can be closed down and isolated, the condition of the fishes are kept at optimum levels.

I here very soon that the first fish are ready for market.
