I have probably heard of 101 applications for NEA's services so far. Here is No. 102. Electricity network companies need to ensure adequate clearance between trees and high-voltage overhead power lines for safety reasons, including fire risk. Up to now they do regular field inspections to ensure this. It seems to me that, in built up areas where NEA provides its services, these network companies would benefit from inspecting these clearances using these services, enabling greater safety at reduced cost through better and more timely targeting of necessary tree trimming.
