You typically won't find much shorting on a stock like Nearmap because:
1. It's too small mcap so it's hard to get the borrow to short in the first place.
2. Any news of a contract/update can send the thing skyrocketing which could instantly close a short
3. It's quite tightly held by people like Ross Norgard and others so a lot of people would sway the price too much when opening/closing their positions.
