You must be referring to the LinkedIn chappie but he didn't sell half. Recently Rosberger realized some capital gains and transferred his shares into a smsf, re-setting old cost bases and capping future CGT to 10%. A smooth move by a medium termer, forecasting big upside ahead and listening to his tax advisors. Newmo doesn't suffer fools either so even though we have no idea what Rosberger does this was a positive.
