Welkin, government owns it on behalf of people, what rubbish. The east has a gas shortage, the gas companies want to raise the prices, way above what they get for exporting their/ OUR LNG overseas. Of course they can’t even find enough overseas customers at the moment. Chevron which has the biggest gas project in Gorgon will hardly pay any tax through sleight of hand tax and company arrangement. Actually, I believe in property right of the owner the land.
