I just found that I have to pay MORE to get a SLOWER speed if I change from an ADSL service to the NBN!
Since my suburb got NBN, my ADSL speed has increased dramatically as my neighbours switch to NBN. It is now running at around 18Mbps.
"They" will be turning off ADSL here soon, so I am forced to move to NBN. But to even get the lowest speed (12Mbps) I will have to pay $10/mo more! No, I don't get a better service: my neighbours are having more trouble with NBN dropouts than they had with ADSL!
