Ash/RB i don't believe tls will fall behind optus in providing 5g services,just my arm chair opinion.
RB ,yes even when agreement was made you must take into account all the black mail threats,legal and illegal,not just the non compete clause.At that time conroy held all the cards so i'm not prepared to give an opinion on thodey or out come of nbn agreement .
imo its not worth tls now/again picking a fight with the govts over such a clause,their network will provide the advertising required.
But ok tls can't advertise they have a superior mobile network to nbn (taking into account a 93% nbn fttp could never have been established or paid for),ie but does mercedes really need to say their cars a better than what ever?.But again tls didn't sign a 35 year technology lease in the telco sector.
hmm i believe thodey probably did well considering what he was dealing with.
