RB thats a good question but only you or Ash can answer it as i am technically challenged.ie are you saying optus is developing 5g modems and tls is falling behind on such developments,or is tls developing a superior 5g modem but just doesn't 'advertise' the fact?ie non compete clause.
I hear tls often refer to their back up modem 4g what ever?,is this not a way to get tls modems into homes/businesses then 'oops' the customer sees tls will ? be providing a 5g modem linked to a superior 5g network? ie reminds me of faulty towers 'just don't mention the war'.
ps as posted RB would you sign a 35 year technology lease in the fixed telco sector considering the speed of developments in the mobile sector?,not to mention the plan being 93% of premises connection.The govt will be paying tls $1b pa growing pa depending on cpi (anyone heard of hyper inflation lol) ,so on one hand you have tls with a govt lease but can't advertise you have a superior competing product but just can't 'openly' advertise the fact.
