    Yes, it will. Why? High bandwidth devices are not going to be fixed to homes anymore. The network needs to be more flexible and the best way to do that is for the telcos to build wireless mesh networks based on wifi tech across the suburbs capable of handling home and mobile data. Fixed connections simply will not work in that environment. What they will essentially do is move the wireless router from inside the house to the street and let everything use it securely.
