Nonsense claims are often made for an ulterior  purpose but they are just that, nonsense claims.

Countries get 12nm plus limited legal control over another 12 nm (the so called contagious zone) plus 200nm economic zone.

Economic zones are NOT territorial waters per sae.  Freedom of navigation by any nation through another country's economic zones is a non contestable assumption.

So why are pro-Putin posters supporting and extension of China's territorial waters from 12nm to something like 1000nm …….. that is all the way to Japan and Indonesia??
