One of the comments that the chairman Jack Hamilton made at the Sydney preso, was that he would limit announcements (excluding those deemed market sensitive, of course); only those really significant would be made between quarterlies. I suspect this one may be seen as less significant, which is not how I see it, but there you go. In addition, there may be constraints on what Anteo is allowed to say about this project, product and award.

My thoughts are:

1. Here is a working product with its performance made very clear.
2. The partners are specifically identified.
3. The product is sufficiently useful and innovative to merit an award.
4. Australia has strong military ties with the US; it would seem to be only a matter of time before orders from across the Pacific would flow.
5. News of this application for the military will undoubtedly be gleaned by the POC segment of the industry, not just in Australia.
6. Anteo will no doubt use this as a reference in its other marketing efforts (including LFIA).
