R15, It is good to question everything. I found it easier to try and understand the big picture. The detail just confuses and distracts from the main game. The April 2008 preso is a must read imo. It gives an idea of the end game.
Abita also has potential, whilst results to date have not been overwhelming there appears to be growing interest in this region. Many of the larger independents appear to generate cash from the old Louisiana region and have used that to leverage into the unconventional. The successful wells payback quick and deliver around $69-$70 per barrel. Unconventional returns appear less but reserves larger but the facilities are not in place which gives the Louisiana a competitive advantage. This appears more relevant to Juniors who do not have the cash on hand to unlock the value held in their reserves.
