I guess I couldn't have got this more wrong. Turns out that the disappointing upper levels were "low end of commercially" but the multiple oil shows at deeper levels were not commercial at all.

This is the danger of the optimism gene for investors. Trying to find positives when none are there - even though the announcements were written very positively.

What have I learned? Don't take any notice of interim announcements.

Do I think a Farm Out to the benefit of LTHs is going to materialise? Not really

What should I do with my shares? Put them back in the bottom draw and wait until they reach 3c, hoping in the mean time that FMG continue to pursue expansion and diversification.
