My theory is that the slow ascent is partly down to the somewhat unsexy name of the company
General Mining Corp falls off the tongue like a brick - even Black & Gold has more pizazz.
Ironically, its just the thing that caught my eye. No BS. Just plain old sweat and skill.
A rename and new ticker would be a really good idea. I bet you anything (except money or shares) that just about anything else would give it a good lift in this world of Brand-is-King.
GMM is just plain generic and too honest for its own good.
GMM goes back ages to when they were drilling anything, anything at all. All over the place.
They were drilling Borat's backyard for goat's cheese. They were praying for gold at Chesterfield to save their bacon. Seemed all hope was lost - then Fotios swung them into place at Mt Cattlin and the rest won't even make the history books.
Has to be the ultimate rags to riches story - which we will be fortunate to see unfolding in front of our eyes.
