Excellent post Duke!

"The war on waste is being lost by lies and dodgy behaviour, not to mention a lack of compliance enforcement by government. And it is costing taxpayers $100s of millions a year to clean the waste issue up. The cost to the environment is unconscionable. "

It's pretty obvious that the Victorian Government (including EPA Vic) is not doing the right thing - by the State, and by it's residents.

"Quick Answer - lets all be sensible and efficiently use what we have in Victoria - NAG can specialise on one aspect of this environmental disaster ie PASS - and do its bit to help the situation. By doing this NAG can also help other fully licenced general landfill providers to take more general waste and recycling, and stop wasting all of our time by ill-treating pass or allowing it to be dumped. Surely this just makes common environmental and economic sense. PASS for NAG, LANDFILL for the others! Simple in my opinion."

I look forward to the day when articles like this will be written in the major dailies, and be exposed on the likes of 4 Corners, A Current Affair etc.

Let's do the right thing Victoria.
