I'll be moving to Gold Coast when I get the chance and I am by no means anywhere close to retirement. like I said you can't compare Perth to eastern states they are completely different especially Sydney and Melbourne. and even if the prices are more expensive for houses the cost of living is substantially cheaper which would add up over time, mainly if you like eating out and drinking and what not.
