Seems likely that they will do a JV if they find a lithium resource of similar size to that of Kidman and work together with one of the big lithium producers like SQM, Ganfeng, Tianqi etc. to develop the resource and build a processing plant. Shipping DSO is a vastly inferior business to shipping lithium hydroxide. Marindi currently does not have the resources, the expertise and the time to develop this resource on its own.
They could go solo if they find gold though
