I think I have inadvertently adopted a dumped cat.
Out my way occasionally people dump there unwanted animals particularly around Christmas and times where people go away on holiday.

A cat turned up at my door starving and fairly savage. Must have been living off the land for a while now.
I was suckered into feeding it. Eventually it stopped spitting and hissing at me and came over and started head butting me and meowing at me.

Short story, it has now taken up residence. It actually takes worm pills and doesnt mind flea treatments.
It is now very friendly. Follows me every where when Im out watering some fruit trees in the paddock and waits for me on the veranda when I go out.

She earns her keep by catching mice and the occasional rabbit, but I dont appreciate her bringing them inside to show me how well she has gutted a rabbit, very proud of herself. No shortage of rabbits and hares out this way.
