I think you should re-read the site http://nusepboardreform.info/agm2012.html because as I read it, it was Dr Nair who brought up HC.


Dr Nair: The only place that I have seen that comment is on Hot Copper and there are lots of things said on Hot Copper that are inaccurate and I should write to them and take these people to task. I know exactly who you are talking about.

Shareholder: There are various things said in various fora but that's not really the question, but rather the point of reference. But as John {referring to the Chairman} said, "No they were not coerced in any way".

Unfortunately, we have very little facts. Those that we do have do not bode well for our investment, unfortunately. And it appears that its more of the same old story.

In fact, as I read the transcript, the shareholder didn't specifically cite HC, but Dr Nair did when he said "the only place I have seen..." and the shareholder said "...that's not the question...".

Also, "I know exactly who you are talking about" in relation to the central theme of the question, relating to "sacked" in the sentence following the mention of Hot Copper, would suggest to anyone who can connect the ideas from 2 sentences together that Dr Nair was referring to a specific individual poster on Hot Copper with whom he is familiar with his comments (he is probably familiar with mine to - Hi Dr Nair. Please get on with making us all money).

Clearly, given RB's departure from active participation here, one would assume at the behest of the board, and the comments at the AGM, they are actively watching what is here on HC. And it could appear that there is some substance to many of the posts or else they wouldn't have gagged RB.

Jukes, when you said "The discussion here generally moves between silliness and absurdity." you should probably speak for yourself. If what is posted here is 80%-90% garbage, then it would be easy for them to ignore. But they don't ignore it (other than not answering any questions), they read it and they internalise it and react as best they can, even if that's through gagging and inciting posts which twist the facts.

Given the above, we should all be posting all of our concerns here and discussing them actively to make our voices heard. Dr Nair & Mr Manusu (I assume you're reading this too), please listen to what is said here and address shareholders concerns. Please let us know what is happening with all of these issues, particularly the ASIC allegations from the previous auditor.
