The words that WKS used in his AGM report were not verbatim accurate and he even said so. (In general it was a good report with some segments of discussion concatenated or paraphrased.)

It was WKS who first mentioned "HotCopper" at which point Hari Nair was quick to interject (by way of defense), "There are lots of things said on Hot Copper that are inaccurate and I should write to them and take these people to task. I know exactly who you are talking about."

Who do you really think he was annoyed about? It think it covers at least 80 - 90% of the artificial constructs endlessly posted here.

You should be able to infer that he is not actually going to start writing here because he could spend all day every day on that and get nothing but belligerent return posts from people who don’t want to know. At the same time he would be putting himself at legal risk.

The discussion here generally moves between silliness and absurdity.
