Chillam, your skepticism is absolutely warranted. The false dawns illuminate Covata's past like a strobe light. To a certain extent the questions that must be asked are; does Covata have great tech that doesn't have a real world application ? Is it before its time/ market not ready / looking in the wrong places ?
In this respect Covata is somewhat akin to a mineral explorer continuing drilling and interpreting promising data with the goal of honing in on a larger resource. There is a year's worth of drilling money left.
And by the way I'm in the boat with you and unlucky bacs as well. The cost of my passage allows me to dine at the Captain's table with complementary cigars and brandy afterwards Unfortunately the last I saw him Malmanu seemed to have scurvy ( bless his/her cotton socks)
