The Solomons are not any different from other directors...Admittedly there are related company transactions.
The Solomons sit on the boards of TAS ,EDE ,CNJ.
They have direct share ownership in them ,but they don't outright control any of them.
TAS is the link....It holds 46% of EDE & 19% of CNJ....The Solomons hold 25% of TAS...Big enough interest for good governance ,but not overwhelming for any mischievous behaviour.
Greg Solomon has 1.7% direct interest in EDE , but TAS has 46% (of which the Solomons has 25%)...Rather complicated.
I am basically interested in EDE ,because it has some big tickets & there is visibility of near term cash flow...It has a truly global potential....Forget about the shale assets , but it is another source of cash flow by way of divestment.
I got interested in TAS because it will get the most out EDE's success....It may also hold a big ticket in Vulcan (but I am no mining guru)
Both TAS & EDE are grossly "undervalued"...I am taking a decent position at their extreme bottom because I hate to chase them up,which will eventually happen.
