Often DEG was down the previous day before announcements.
I went back to the announcements around the time of finding the 1st nugget findings as I remember the stock was often down before news.
31/8/2017 Toweranna Announcement: Down 3% on 2m shares previous day. Up 10% on 3.5m shares traded on announcement.
26/9/2017 Nuggets announcement: previous day down 6% on 6m. Up 150% on 62m on announcement
13/10/017 High Grade Lithium; previous day down 6% and day of announcement down 2%.
29/11/2017 High grade rock samples @ Farno JV Stock: down 5% previous day with 7m shares trade to rise 12% on announcement
