Australia's only internet music delivery service for radio stations, Destra Corporation, is leaping across the Tasman.
Destra today announced Music Point - its web-based service for record companies to provide their music to radio stations - will be rolled out to almost every radio station in New Zealand.
Chief executive Domenic Carosa said expansion into New Zealand was just the first move in a strategy targeting the global market.
"We are expecting Music Point to generate millions of dollars internationally for us over the next three years. New Zealand is just the first step," he said.
The roll-out comes after an agreement between Destra and Radio Computing Services signed in June this year.
Destra also said TPP Internet, an Australian domain name registrar, had now been accredited in New Zealand. Destra acquired a 60 per cent stake in TPP in March this year.
