LEZOK is right, surveys are taken whilst drilling, and no rods have to be pulled to take the shot. They should have been keeping track of the deviation as they were drilling it. Theres probably an option for setting a wedge half way down the hole to avoid redrilling the entire thing, but they would need equipment on site and well trained drillers to make it work.
