Awestbro, companies are allowed to issues shares without going to the shareholders providing it is less than 15% of the existing number of shares.
If the company doesn't get any gas out of the wells in a profitable manner, then the asset value is irrelevant because it will be worth nothing.
That's one reason why the raising price is cheap because it has big risks involved.
No easy money until they can prove gas flows profitably.
