It's very smart - it is just an improved version of nebulisers that already exist for use in the Thoroughbred Racing industry, however, the "just" needs to be qualified by a number of important points:
1/ The Thoroughbred Racing and Wagering industry (according to Racing Victoria) is worth $25 Billion.
2/ Other Thoroughbred industries are also very lucrative (e.g. breeding, equestrian, rodeo) with horses worth hundreds of thousands and even millions of dollars to their owners.
3/ As has already been referenced, "studies with Australia’s leading University confirmed the MPTS360 Nebuliser Technology is 500% more effective than any nebuliser available in the world today".
4/ The respiratory system of a horse is critical to its performance - lungs must be at their very optimal, otherwise horses in these industries will not achieve and chronic conditions can sometimes see horses put down.
5/ Looking at the RRP price of the kit (or at least what it is being sold for by some) $1950.00, it would appear there is plenty of profit in this. http://www.gobetterhorses.com.au/mpts360-horse-nebuliser
Putting together the above points (and others I have missed), ensuring optimal respiratory system is critical in the performance (and future) of a Thoroughbred.
Excuse the puns below.
Medivet would appear to be operating in a very lucrative industry indeed with its growing stable of products.
For a penny (pony) stock, I think Medivet is more than a great each-way bet.
