Agreed, it sure can be frustrating awaiting drilling news from MPJ. Whilst their method of operation may suit best geophysical practise it doesn't necessarily satisfy market anticipation/expectations.

FWIW, papa, their recent history of announcements dating back to April, reveal a pattern of regular monthly updates occurring around the 10-12th of each month. Thus it may be another 2-3 weeks before the next update. Groan.

Most of these anns forecast more MLEM & DHEM geophysics with an overview to:

Further DD drilling is continuing and targeted to locate the modelled centre of the host komatiitic lava channel which is interpreted to be the source of the Nickel sulphide mineralisation.

MPJ seems hell bent on surveying the entire 40 klm strike before commencing priority target drilling. And in the process, seemingly being side tracked by further prospective hits:

We have only just started exploring areas where the ultramafic rocks are hidden under cover and our efforts have been rewarded with immediate success prior to assessing priority targets in the advanced prospects."

It's an embarrassment of riches. Plus in August it was announced:

The technical team will then proceed to finalise the first set of high priority drill targets for the next phase of planned drilling in September 2015.

Must be very close now for targeted drilling. Even so holders are entitled to ask by now whether the 'modelled centre of the lava channel' has indeed been located. Earlier anns have intimated it has.

If not, where are we at in that regard? If located, let's go, Joe!

In the meantime we can look forward to assay results promised in last two anns. Or not. IMHO>
