Mining companies as everyone knows, rely on periodic injections of cash to keep exploring.
Here are some effects of yesterday's fun and games. There may be others.

    1. Recent share/option placements to sophisticated investors at low prices with notably .004 to C.P.S. Capital (ACN 088 055 636) for Pilbara funding when seen in the light of yesterday's action means that when the time comes for MPJ to put the hand out again, these guys should be lining up to open their sophisticated wallets. At a SP of 0.008/.009 (say), they should have a grin from ear to ear. Future exploration cash for MPJ should be all systems go, and that is the lifeblood of speccies.

    2. The purchase of the Pilbara lithium gold project cost 300 million shares. In the immediate period leading up to this announcement on 28th January, MPJ shares had no market interest being nickel and a share price of around 0.003. Tribal/Tyranna have just seen an increase in value of what they have been paid for Pilbara of

    300m x (0.8-0.3c) = $1,500,000 notionally

plus they are still well leveraged in to success in this tenement.

I would expect that would now put a big smile instead on the face of Mr. Ian Finch (Chairman of Tyranna) and a happy MPJ chairman is a positive dynamic one. An "everybody wins" situation.

    3. Directors/Consultants/tea ladies and everyone who has kindly and generously accepted MPJ shares in lieu at 0.009 (or 0.006 in some cases) or whatever price can now breathe easier. The wives who have nagged or complained to their husbands that the supermarket does not accept MPJ shares in exchange for goods and that they should go and get a real job instead can relax and take the pressure off.

    4. Those unfortunates (like myself) who have taken a significant hit on the oppies can on paper at least more than offset that loss against the big gain in the shares. Nice.

    5. The gnarled old prospector who recently accepted MPJ shares at a deemed 0.005 for his Wodinga East prospect has seen his payment grow by 8/5 or +60% in a few weeks. He would now realise there is more money and easier to be made in wheeling and dealing than actually Finding lithium. Time to sell that packhorse.

    6. If MPJ can do that jump on no news, imagine what is possible on positive news!! Some cynics may say a solid lithium find will cause the SP to collapse to nothing, based on that logic... but I think not!

    Cheers
