First time I've had one of my holdings consolidate, couple newb questions for you fine people.
What are the benefits to a consolidation for a company, is it merely an on-paper thing? It is alot easier to manage shares when you move that decimal, I am assuming.
In theory can we expect the sp to be a little less volatile because of the consolidation, as we now have more price steps to play with?
Also FYI I am using Suncorp Share Trade and have had no problems at all, everything has transitioned smoothly so far and no down time.
