To buy in at 40c - paying $300m for an 80,000oz/year miner with only 2.5 years ahead of it was certainly optimistic, but fair enough. But what is strange is that given that nothing has changed with the operation (if anything the project is derisked), why would you sell out?
Since nothing negative has happened with the company since Sept last year (the peak), the only thing i can thing that could be guiding your buy/sell decisions is market sentiment. You bought in extreme optimism and sold in pessimism. They will be mining that ground for years, therell be another cycle of euphoria to ride to a good exit im sure
