Nice timing considering the 4 Corners program last night focused on the MIS sector and questioned the sustainability of the companies plus the market for the end product.
According to one interview on the program there is no growing demand for paper and sales of woodchips are flat at best both in terms of quantity and price. I guess that person has their foot in their mouth following this announcement this morning.
It was also interesting hearing the farmers complaining that this big multinationals are buying up our land and decimating local communities, if being a farmer was so fantastic and a lucrative proposition for young people then this wouldn't be happening.
