The heading is spot on, and really, from all angles it's well researched, brilliant move.
There probably are obstacles (which company doesn't have any lately?) but the management is taking a very good advantage of the circumstances by spreading it's 'wings', securing long term cash flow with a growth potential, reducing the risk of capital rising when commercialisation time comes, gaining more independent position.
Our management seems to know the game of geopolitics, which is crucial in this business IMHO.
Europe is obsessed by energy independence ideas (my impression), and it's energy needs are predicted to grow, despite the crisis. The Russian President Mr Medvedev just happened to to finish his 4 days African tour, accompanied mainly by large number of energy business officials, Iraq auctions coming ... There are a lot of facts to put together and play smart. Well done!
