Interesting buying at close

it seems to me the price is trying to be kept down.

When the depth had buyers at 0.001 and sellers at 0.002, and the price went up to 2 a cross trade appeared, bringing it back to 0.0015.

There was a 10m sell at 2 that got pulled the other morning, buyers jumped in to get what was left of the 2 line.

Now we have buyers at 2 and sellers at 3.  Same thing happens,  the price goes up to 3 and a cross trade happens at 0.0025.

Buyers at close keeping the price up; Sellers appear at 2, buyers try to jump the queue and scoop them up with a 3 bid.  Then the sells get pulled or lowered.

Somehow I don't think it's retail playing these games (attempting to keep the price down)

Any explanation?

The company has another tranch of shares to place.... right? 

If so, has the placement price and quantity been agreed?
