Just thinking out loud here. But I would have thought that CCL's warehousing and distribution network would be the jewel in the crown for Kirin. I'm sure there would be a lot of synagies with their current operations here in Aust/NZ. Have no idea what they have in Indonesia.
You only have to go back to the recent takeover of Toll by Japan Post to see the logic in it.
