my guess is that alot of traders would have been spooked by the freeze up. to me, logically, nobody is gonna leave a buy order hanging when they don't know what sell orders are waiting to get processed

on the other hand, a ST or day trader might panic and try and sell their position while the unknown looms over the bid, creating more downward pressure.


the net effect is a bit of a dampener.

all stocks i am holding started the morning with real vigour, but looking at them all now, well most are in the red, excluding this little wonder:)
