Last El Nino sales were up 9 per cent. Not a reason to buy in itself as a short term event but may be replicated.
The story about teenage coke consumption is of interest. Coke is still the major earner for CCL and reduction in CSD consumption will have a negative effect on earnings. There may be a structural change underway like that seen with smoking, who knows.
I suggest reviewing the brands that CCL markets and distributes. CCL is more than just a supplier of Coke, but a well diversified packaged beveraged distributor.
