Just read an interesting article in Ahead of the Herd, I don't know how credible it is but basically all lithium suppliers are tapped out with supply contracts. With the exception of yours truly A40..... Who is apparently going to make an announcement in the coming days about their unaccounted for 50%. One would like to think this will "boost" A40 and lift the SP.
Electric vehicles are expected to triple from 3.7 million in 2017 to 13 million in 2020. "Volkswagen has already brought the batteries needed to make 50 million EVs!" (current global EV sales are around 4 million) "The average EV uses about 4Kgs of lithium" Where's all the lithium going to come from? As 99.9% of Australian lithium is already rreserved and locked up in off take agreements....
