it certainly doesn't look good though with the long range guys saying the El Nino event is concluded in technical terms it is possible that if and when a/the break comes it will get extremely wet. (See - I really am an optimist!)
Seriously though, El Nino conclusions are historically marked by a period of excessive rainfall.
In the meantime the TIM price should remain propped by the FCL deal possibly.
None of this seems to be making any difference to GTP which had a strong day up 2 to close 75c. Min you, they don't rely on irrigation at all and there total plantings are located in good rainfall areas.
I would be quite happy to see GTP pull the (appropriately net asset and cashflow postive) long awaited deal out of the hat that the Chairman keeps refering to to have them maintain their market share...
