WENTWORTH APPOINTS MARKETING GROUP
Wentworth Mutual Ltd (ASX:WWM) have appointed industry recognised marketers RCI
Pacific Pty Ltd as their primary national management rights marketing and promotions
service provider.
RCI is a subsidiary of Cendant Corp. (NYSE:CD), a global provider of consumer and
business services. Having commenced in 1974, RCI has more than 3,700 affiliated resorts
in more than 100 countries and with 3.5 million member families will be able to promote
Wentworth’s units worldwide.
In commenting on the joint pairing, WWM Executive Director Kingsley Lamont said,
“With 1000 units in Queensland and New South Wales in 12 resorts already under our
management, we are in an excellent position to utilise the services of an industry leader
such as RCI Pacific. We are confident of an increase in returns to our property owners
and our Shareholders.”
Lamont went on to state that WWM anticipates a contribution of $1 million from this
new division for the 2006/2007 financial year.
Vice President and Managing Director of Cendant Vacation Network Group (RCI
Pacific), Gary Knowles stated that “RCI Pacific is extremely pleased to have Wentworth
as a major client. Wentworth has a firm vision of what they want to achieve and RCI
Pacific believe we can assist them with their objectives. We are very excited by the
growth strategy Wentworth is pursuing as this will give both RCI and Wentworth
unparalleled opportunities in the inventory management and distribution sector.”
Wentworth will use RCI Pacific to promote their management rights properties
throughout Australia and overseas as well as development of a loyalty program designed
to provide holiday and corporate accommodation discounts, as well as other benefits, to
over 10,000 shareholders and property and unit owners.
