Sick of the constant rumours emanating from all areas of the media and The Ear of this very website I decided to grab the bull by the horns and ask Tony 'The Sage' Sage, International Man of Intrigue and Perennial Winner of the CEO of the Year for his services to Global Markets (albeit his turning of the iron ore company, Cape Lambert Iron Ore Limited [ASX Code: CFE], into a 400 million dollar cashbox and then his almost immediate return to shareholders of $100,000,000 by way of dividend) this very simple question.



Have you recently offered your services as Chairman to the company Golden West Resources [ASX Code: GWR]?



The simple answer was "Yes".



Have you recently had your expert team check the books of GWR?



The very simple answer again, "Yes".



Have you any other comment? I enquired.



"No" said 'The Sage', "except the fact that I wish to clear my backlog of business with the turning of International Goldfields [ASX Code: IGC] into a cash box, the finishing of the merger of Jackson Minerals Limited - ASX Code: JAK and Scimitar Resources Ltd - ASX Code: SIM into a dynamic company in both Uranium and Copper and the finalising of my recent purchases of Copper Co assets. I would love to be at the helm of GWR in, say, a month or so. Until then Mr McLernon I really have nothing to say except that negotiations are ongoing. Love your website and books by the way".
