Let me see if I understand correctly. The etf has a requirement to inform the market but in doing so alert the market to front run their actions. If we use NST as an example where weighting expands so they have to buy. They short the price into their buying range to physically buy and they can use their own holding to "borrow" stock for the short. The NST short covering started end of December 2015 so are you saying the current price action is after the fact? How do you tell if they have met their makeup weighting or will they report at their own time?
