Perhaps the current ministerial behaviours, decisions, circumstances and outcomes of those actions are a major step towards finally becoming a banana republic.
Sadly I think not as the nation seems to thrive, though not prosper, on these antics and attitudes. Practises that provide very short term moments of holding public office (glory) and position that facilitates the short term opportunities for bribery and corruption.
